Key Responsibilities* Represent Aura Sales in timely, accurate and efficient manner by responding to sales leads. Identify and acquire new accounts that support the business needs. All inquiries will be responded to within 24 hours. Manage leads and detail customer needs in service of groups and events in coordination with all supporting operational departments (such as Culinary, Reception, IRD, Convention Services, Seaport Asset Management, Sales, etc). Develop an ongoing sales plan that includes specific tasks and timelines; make minimum of 40 prospecting calls per week, ten of which must be new prospects, maintain a system for following up with clients at least 3 times per year. Initiate and complete all sales contracts and process commissions, ensuring consistency and accuracy at all times, using the provided sales support to help expedite the process. Organize presentations for inside and outside sales calls. It is envisioned that approximately 40% of time to be spent out of the building making direct sales calls and meeting directly with potential customers. Responsible for initiating and organizing specialty dinners (beer, wine, seasonal) and special promotions within. Supporting the management team on occasion where actual presence would required on the floor. It is expected that the amount of time this would consume would be less than 25%. Responsible for practicing, managing and promoting our Mission and Values so that it becomes an intricate part of the everyday operation. Build and promote a team environment. Completes any duties and projects assigned by Department Head. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Required Job Skills and Knowledge Strong sales skills preferred, that inspire confidence in cold calls, probing for uncovered needs and closing sale. Knowledge of food and beverage products is important. Should be comfortable discussing food, wine, and service details. Delphi software experience. Understand and be able to communicate basic audio visual needs.Qualifications Three to five years Hospitality Sales experience. College degree or equivalent work experience.
