SQL Database Engineer
SolutionsIQ is seeking a SQL Server Database Engineer to design and develop a solution combining SQL Server and MS Access. It will use an existing Access front-end that resides on multiple users’ desktops and accesses a SQL database residing on a hosted server. It will also require development of forms global users can use to submit requests. The forms will integrate with the SQL database.
This is an Immediate need (would like to engage on this project with a start date of May 27th) for a short term project of approximately 5 weeks with the ability to telecommute/work offsite.

Scope of Work
* This worldwide tool requires broad number of Form Administrators across the globe and the solution must recognize their permission to restricted areas of the forms.
* Seeking to implement an automated back-up solution so an admin doesn't have to manually back up on a routine basis.
* Seeking to auto-populate the data for the children form factors based on the data from the parent; or have a cloning mechanism.
* Ability to Sort all pick list values in alphabetical order (with the exception of Project Stage).
* Ability to select more than one role (TDM, BDM, both, etc.). Change Role from drop down list to a multi select checkbox.
* Must be able to search on multiple fields (for example, Product Category, Subject Category, and Content Title) to return related events, engagements, and content. Must be able to save searches.
* Field level security (i.e. only certain people can update certain fields or records; only certain fields can be updated at certain project stages)
Provide the ability for certain fields to be required when the project is at specific Project Stages (i.e. users can’t save a record without the required fields being filled out).
* Fields that automatically track each change that is made to a field (old value / new value), the date of change, and the name of person making change.
* Ability to edit data in bulk, meaning in spreadsheet or datasheet format.
* Add data views and parallel submission forms and add auto-generate the Product ID field.
* Reporting: Build canned reporting capabilities for the most frequently requested reports.
