Job Description:

A communication agency seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 5+ years’ relevant experience. The candidate will work with account management to prepare staffing plans, proposals, and contracts. Prepare staffing plan roll-ups and review with senior management. Prepare monthly client financial package for review with account management. Review monthly profitability reports based on actuals and forecasts. Conduct month end revenue close and forecast by client by department. Maintain income recognition schedule and revenue forecast schedules. Prepare month end summary of client revenue risks and opportunities. Prepare deferred revenue and unbilled commissions and fees reconciliation. Work with account service and accounting to resolve work in process, media billing, and accounts receivable issues. Analyze time system reports/perform inquiries/oversee time transfers. Review billing rates annually. Monitor employee utilization rates. Fill out credit limit requests for all new clients. Assist on new business opportunities as needed (Requests For Proposals). Maintain contract/staffing plan binder with monthly contract summary updates. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
