Job Description:
This is a great opportunity to assist with the development of innovative ecommerce applications. You will be responsible for designing and developing web applications utilizing PHP, MySQL and XML technologies. Your hands on responsibilities will involve:
* Designing and developing multi-tiered application systems utilizing the latest LAMP PHP/MySQL technologies including PHP5 and MySQL.
* Designing, developing, and maintaining database systems utilizing MySQL.
* Integrating web applications with web services utilizing XML and SOAP technologies.
* Designing and developing appealing web based front ends utilizing JavaScript and HTML.
* Working with external software vendors to implement 3rd party systems, applications and technologies.
Job Requirements:
* 5 years of web development and programming expertise.
* 3 years of expertise working with LAMP based technologies including Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
* 2 years of expertise working within MVC frameworks.
* Experience With CakePHP is preferred.
* Experience working with other PHP based frameworks including ZEND, Symfony, PHOCOA, or CodeIgnitor a plus.
* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
* Experience integrating web applications with web services by utilizing XML, SOAP, WSDL, and ASMX technologies.
* Ability to take broad user requirements and translate requirements into robust code.
* Ability to work as a part of a team.
