Job Description:
Responsibilities:
This individual will work within a team of design engineers supporting the company’s hosted messaging and portal platforms. Responsibilities include conceptual development, design, planning, analysis and support across Comcast.
• Collaborate with upstream Business Unit teams in the refinement of product requirements and all associated documents required to develop product solutions.
• Work with downstream test, OPS and internal system teams in the refinement of requirements and all associated documents required to support testing
• Work within team of engineers to design and deliver product solutions on time and within budget
• Work with peer engineering teams to design and deliver product solutions on time and within budget
• Participate in planning and strategy engagements
• Participate in business requirements sessions internal business and technical resources
• Lead solution architecture and design efforts
• Perform development tasks as required
• Review test plans and test cases
• Ensure quality with delivered technical solution and related documentation

Job Requirements:
Qualification:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field. The equivalent in directly related experience and self study may be substituted. Experience in a product development environment is preferred. Work experience in Cable or an Engineering related field is also desirable.
• Minimum 7 years designing and architecting Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
• Expert in Exchange 2007 architecture, server roles, and clustering models for a high-availability environment
• High-availability architecture design (clusters, SAN, failover systems)
• Significant experience with development of deployment and test plans
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, MOM/SCOM, SQL Server, ADAM
• Experience with Exchange end-user provisioning in a large environment
• Strong DNS, IIS Server, SMTP and Mail Routing experience
• Strong Anti-Spam/Antivirus working knowledge
• Basic understanding of security and identity management technologies (Digital Certificates, LDAP, SSO, etc.)
• Basic application infrastructure/architecture knowledge (reverse proxy, fail-over, session state persistence, load-balancing, etc.)
• Basic networking knowledge (topologies, routers, gateways, TCP/IP)
• Excellent communication skills (effective oral and written skills)
• Experience with migration assessment, design & implementation to Exchange a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Hosted Messaging & Collaboration (HMC) a plus
