We are currently seeking a Legal Secretary for our client who is an excellent litigation law firm.
Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiates and maintains positive contact with clients, attorneys and staff.
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Establishes and maintains calendars and/or deadline reminder systems.
Maintains all client and general files.
Processes time sheets, pre-bills, etc. to assure that bills are sent in a timely manner.
Types at least 60 -75 wpm accurately.
Proficient with current Word XP processing software.
Basic knowledge of other programs, including Interaction, Carpe Diem, PowerPoint, Access.
Law Firm experience is required.
