LRA offers leadership in all phases of a project, including survey, planning, design, and construction administration. Clients include city, county, state and federal government agencies, private developers, industries, utilities, and commercial enterprises. NOTES: Employer will assist with relocation costs. Bonus Program Requirements LRA is seeking an experienced Urban Planning/Landscape Architecture Department Manager. The candidate must have a BS in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field and a minimum of ten years experience managing the process of stakeholder involvement in connection with the preparation of public realm strategies, development briefs and urban design frameworks. The candidate should also have experience in master planning and final design for projects such as residential and commercial developments (suburban and re-development), civic or governmental infrastructure, athletic facilities, parks, landscape and streetscape as well as experience and interest in sustainable design principles and preservation and enhancement of natural systems. Additional experience in project financial analysis is desirable. Duties will include marketing and expanding the client base, project management and management of department staff, including planners, landscape architects, and technicians. A working knowledge of CAD is desired, but not necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.
