award winning firm Requirements for this position include 4-10 years of direct experience in the A/E/C industry in a marketing role, with a Bachelor's degree and a thorough understanding of the A/E/C proposal processes and ability to execute business development initiatives. Qualified candidates will have excellent technical and convincing writing skills, be industry and market savvy, be creative, big picture thinkers, be detail and task oriented, highly organized, able to coordinate consultant teams, and must have the ability to meet and exceed critical and frequent short-term deadlines. The Proposal Manager must act on their own initiative and with direction from four Principals, work with the Business Manager, manage the Marketing Coordinator and work with Project Managers and an outside PR / Marketing consultant as needed to achieve marketing and business development goals. The Proposal Manager will oversee updating and improving of qualifications materials and collateral, provide support and assistance in development and production for presentations, and provide follow up and reporting on leads and proposal status as well as other business development efforts. Experience in preparing responses for RFQ's, RFP's and SF330 forms required, and the ideal candidate will have a high level of competency with InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe and Filemaker. A good eye for design and presentation is very important, and candidate must want to work efficiently and effectively, take ownership of their work, and have a high standard for preparation of materials and presentation. Experience working with DC Government contracts a plus.
