Posted on: Feb 15, '08 AHT Architects is seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager with design skills to join our practice in Santa Monica. The successful candidate must be experienced in managing a team of professionals to produce a quality set of construction documents. A minimum of six years experience in the design and documentation of architectural projects is required for our diverse practice which includes, but is not limited to hotels/resorts, office buildings, high-end automobile dealerships, retail and institutional facilities. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their management and design abilities through recent project experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Word/Excel are essential, along with strong graphic presentation skills. Competency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign are plus. All applicants should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be self-motivated, resourceful, organized and detail oriented. Responsibilities include engaging clients and team members in a collaborative process. For the right person, this position could lead to participation as a team member during interviews, providing mentoring to interns and successfully prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
