Summary: The Director Of Environmental Planning Will Work With A Team Of Environmental Planners And Scientists To Perform Environmental Studies And Compliance Activities For A Wide Range Of Assignments Including Large, Complex Transportation Projects. A Thorough Knowledge Of The Nepa Process And Associated Rules And Regulations Is Essential. This Position Involves Diversified Work Within General Procedures, Requiring Frequent Judgment And Initiative. Responsibilities: A Good Grasp Of Technology And Ability To Adapt And Work Quickly In A Fast Paced Environment Is Highly Preferred. Responsible For The Growth And Overall Fiscal And Administrative Management Of The Environmental Planning Department For The Atlanta Office Preparing And/or Supervising The Preparation Of Environmental Documents; Including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements And Other Technical Reports As Needed To Assess Impacts Coordinating With Design Team Members To Ensure Compliance With Environmental Commitments And Permit Requirements As Well As Preparing Permit Applications, And Related Documents Formulating And Conducting Technical Planning Studies In A Timely And Efficient Manner And Present Results In Concise, Well-written Documents Managing Environmental Services To Include Preparing/reviewing Scope And Fees And Proposals Managing Budgets, Work Schedules And Project Staffing Qualifications: Bachelor's In Planning Or Related Field Minimum 8 Years Of Experience Aicp Preferred We Take An Organized Approach To Nurturing And Developing Your Career.
