Job Description:
The Software Engineer (Device Communication Specialist) position takes detailed communication specifications for specific datacenter infrastructure monitoring devices and adds communication support for those devices to our software. This person will also fix issues with existing device communications drivers and protocols.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of Windows, C++, Visual Studio 6, SQL.
Understanding of basic engineering units including those used for electrical current, voltage, power, temperature, humidity.
3-5 years of experience.

Knowledge of one or more of the following:
Device Communications, both IP and serial
Experience with SNMP, Modbus, BACnet, or OPC protocols
SQL server 2005
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and successfully achieve project deadlines.
