Job Description:
Must have an active secret level clearance.
Real-time Avionics / Weapons software simulation through all phases of development from requirements analysis, preliminary and detailed design, code and unit test, and integration through customer acceptance.
Applications include actual aircraft core Avionics translation and/or integration, audio and communication, navigation, weapons, early warning, and sensor systems simulations on various military flight simulation programs.
Applications will function in both standalone and networked (DIS and/or HLA) training devices.
Simulation software development includes new development, adaptation of existing code, reuse of existing code and combinations thereof.
Tasks will include formal presentations, both internal and external, customer interface, potential bid and proposal efforts, and possibly some travel.
Experience in simulation of the avionics subsystem is required.
Experience in development of actual aircraft systems is also desired and will be considered for simulation experience.
Applications include knowledge and experience in C, C++, FORTRAN, Ada. DIS and HLA knowledge and experience is also desired.
Must have an active secret level clearance.
