Job Description:

A leader in the oilfield services industry seeks Mechanical Designer preferably with 5+ years’ drafting experience. The candidate will be responsible for investigating and procuring all data required to develop designs. Will prepare preliminary sketches and/or schematic diagrams. Performs moderate to complex computer aided designs with emphasis on functionality, manufacturing and maintainability. Prepares designs having distinctive design features that can differ significantly from established drafting precedents. Prepares layout, design and assembly drawings. Learns current manufacturing/business systems for basic cost, inventory and purchasing information. The candidate should have high school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in engineering or related field preferred. Should have comprehensive and specialized knowledge of engineering and drafting standards including codes and regulations affecting design assignment. Working Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCad is preferred.
