Job Description:
 A company that purchases charged-off consumer debt from credit issuers, and then uses methods to collect on these receivables seeks a Financial Analyst with 5+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, capital monitoring and financial analysis. The candidate will be responsible for working closely with management in all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and analysis, including operational process review. Work closely with the finance manager and director - finance to develop budgeting, planning, forecasting and profitability reporting policies. Prepare variance to budget analysis and ad hoc reporting. Assist in the calculation and forecasting of revenue and cash collections. Partner with management to provide reports for strategic financial analysis and insights into financial performance. Compile income statements, balance sheets, budgets and forecasts for analysis. Assist management with financial modeling and key performance indicators. Assess current financial processes and systems and identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency and growth. Lead or assist with process improvement special projects. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant preferred. Working knowledge of COGNOS preferred. Microsoft Navision experience is a plus. Ability to speak, read and write fluent English is essential.
