Job Description:
A large, growing national firm whose work reflects an enduring commitment to its clients is seeking a SENIOR TECHNICAL with 10+ years experience in commercial office interiors.
Responsibilities:
1. Interact verbally with the project team to produce interior documentation, coordinate with engineers and governmental agency submittals.
2. Author appropriate business correspondence, interact with clients, participate in appropriate site survey and punch list walk-through of project sites.
4. Will be required to conduct phone business with the above mentioned project team members, consultants, client and governmental agency representatives.
5. Will be required to meet with various appropriate governmental agencies in their offices and must be able to provide for your own transportation to and from these meetings as needed. (Employees will be reimbursed for mileage in conjunction with miles driven to conduct office business).
6. Approximately 80% of time will be spent in a sitting position doing drafting or AutoCAD operation. 20% of time will be spent doing field work, meeting with governmental agencies, doing project and consultant coordination and authoring appropriate business correspondence.
7. Perform architectural responsibilities to complete technical work on projects, work from design of others to generate construction documents, elevations, sections, details, utilizing CAD, pick up red-lines on plans and produce construction details, perform computations and compiles data.

Job Requirements:
1. BA in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field or comparable amount of related experience.
2. Minimum 10 years experience in drafting of commercial office interiors.
3. Must be AutoCAD proficient. Revit experience a plus.
4. Must have working knowledge of Title 24, ADA Code Compliance Regulations, and relevant governmental agency processing of plans as it relates to project requirements.
5. Architectural license required.
6. Must show ability to carry out project tasks in linear fashion and demonstrate successful completion of tasks.
7. Must demonstrate understanding of working within established budget parameters and meeting deadlines within those same parameters.
8. Must show ability to problem solve, both individually and as part of a project team.
9. Must have good verbal and written communication skills; motivated self-starter, thorough knowledge of commercial project constructability.
10. Must be able to transport up to 30lbs. of drawings, project samples, files or materials as needed to and from meetings and the job site on own accord.
11. Must be available for overtime on as needed basis.
