Job Description:
As the Process Engineer for this food manufacturing facility, you will provide engineering support for various operations lines and plant projects. Some duties include: project management; production line troubleshooting; budget administration; design, installation, qualification and commissioning of new/modified process systems; assisting Production and Quality departments to resolving non-maintenance related production and quality issues; conducting training; and maintaining and updating documentation relating to the position. Job Requirements:
Education: 4 year degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or Food Science/Technology or similar discipline.
Required Skills: 5+ years of process engineering experience in a food or pharmaceutical plant environment – fluid or aseptic preferred; knowledge of applicable food laws; a good understanding of QMS, HACCP, and SOPs; strong project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; and training skills. PLC programming experience is desired.
