Currently we are seeking applicants for a Regional Logistics Manager for Direct Mail in our Chalfont, PA facility. The Regional Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the growth of Direct Mail Logistics within a multi plant enviroment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to utilize logistics and direct mail experience to not only lead the department, but consistently promote Best Practices and maintain performance standards. This position is responsible for Division Freight P+L and reporting responsibility, including in depth analysis as required to effectively manage and improve department functions. esponsible for meeting all logistics reporting requirements and deadlines. This person will continue to increase the logistics department's contribution to meeting the overall service and profit goals of the platform. Required Skills * Strong management and leadership skills. Elevate issues to Direct Manager and Senior Management that may impact logistics department's ability to meet customers required delivery deadlines. Ability to develop, coordinate, and report on expense savings and / or revenue enhancing initiatives to further enhance contribution. * Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Lotus Notes * Experience with Logistics and/or Supply Chain planning software a plus. Utilize Logistics planning software to identify and execute the most cost effective transportation solutions to insure on time delivery. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. Required Experience * College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience required.
