Ryder is currently seeking a Customer Logistics Supervisor (CLS) who will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function. The CLS is primarily responsible for the leadership of direct reports, as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area. Additional Responsibilities Include: * Performance Management (of Direct Reports) - Goal setting, skills assessment, IDPs, career development, performance evaluation, on-going employee feedback - Disciplinary actions * Warning Documentation (Performance Disciplinary Form) * Risk Associated Behavior Documentation to drivers/WH * Performance Improvement Plans for CLC * Supervision - Higher level communication with CLC and drivers (e.g., HR Dependent Audit, Not Paid Report, Not Trained Report, Personnel File Audit) - Timely execution of Terminations and Exit Interviews through HR Compliance Coordinator * Developing Direct Reports - New Employee Training - Current Employee Training * Monthly Safety Meetings * Assign OTJ opportunities * Employee Relations / Issue Resolution - Driver of the Month selection in conjunction with CLC * Quality Assurance - Recommend location process initiation and/or improvement Administrative Duties.
