Due to expansion we are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager. Responsibilities for this job include: Description:Responsible for import and export, inbound and outbound traffic, customs, freight forwarding and vendor management. Ensure LGS is compliant for all shipments, both import and export. Ship material both domestically and internationally using the most cost effective means. Facilitate the import and export logistics compliance of finished goods, raw materials, and any intangible products in conjunction with various governmental agencies and their regulations, ensuring all documentation associated with shipments are in order. Specifically, this position will:*Research and negotiate freight rates and review freight claims for accuracy. *Work closely with Order Management, Procurement, and Business and Project management teams to improve outbound delivery of materials and timely fulfillment of complex orders, ensuring quality of shipments and alignment of delivery to the needs of our customers. *Collaborate with Supply Chain and Proposal Management to ensure that logistics/warehousing costs are included in all bids before being presented to customer. Develop the most cost effective process without negatively affecting the project or customer expectations.
