GAINSCO Auto Insurance has an immediate opening for a Claims Supervisor in Dallas Texas Job Purpose: To supervise the daily activities of the Claims Adjusters within the assigned region in order to ensure quality service, high productivity and compliance with industry guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities: Â· Accomplish staff (Adjuster) job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Â· Provide daily and monthly reports Â· Conduct unit meetings Â· Directly supervise 4-6 claims adjusters Â· Maintain quality service by assuring prompt and accurate handling of claims Â· Address escalated complaints Â· Ensures all files are consistent and are in adherence to Company and State policies and procedures Â· Maintain relationships with vendors Â· Maintain positive team morale Â· Review and audit claims Requirements Requirements: • 4 year degree or 2 years management experience in a claims supervisory role • Minimum 3 years claims adjusting experience in the auto insurance industry • Full understanding of auto claims investigations and claims processing • Effective leadership skills a must • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Effective negotiating skills • Knowledge of Texas laws regulating the automobile insurance industry.
