Responsible for reviewing and assigning new losses to the appropriate adjuster and maintaining these files on a periodic diary. Conducting monthly compliance audits to ensure quality of claims handling. Developing the claim staff to ensure that both internal and external standards are being met on a consistent basis. Providing technical expertise and/or training in the proper handling of claims to support departmental goals and objectives. Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of claims handling, statutes, and policy language. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience and 5-7 years liability claims handling experience is required. 3 plus years of prior supervisory experience preferred. Well-organized, efficient problem solver, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
