Team Manager opening at our Torrance location. Under the direction of the Director of PBS, the Government Claims Team Manager is responsible for daily management of the Government Claims Team with the goal of decreasing receivables and increasing collection rates. Oversees the day-to-day billing and accounts receivable management operations for California and Texas Medicare and Medicaid in a centralized business office. Administers system and department policies and procedures and ensures that ethical and sound business practices are followed. Minimizes losses related to denials and other inefficiencies in the revenue stream and ensures that excellent customer service is provided to patients, staff and other customers who interact with the department. Requirements Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of government claims managerial experience in a Centralized Business Office or hospital based Patient Financial Services department. Proficiency in revenue cycle management and solid knowledge of government healthcare billing guidelines required. The candidate must have a demonstrated successful track record in keeping current on applicable government payer rules and regulations and disseminating information effectively to staff to ensure operational compliance.
