The Workers' Compensation National Manager is responsible for the revenue growth, profitability and competitiveness of this product line across the corporation. Specific responsibilities include: * Overall WC management to ensure that the Company business model and application of guidelines and business practices are supported * Direct responsibility for meeting WC business revenue and profitability objectives * Review & approval of all exceptions to underwriting standards * Provide WC technical support to underwriting line management and underwriters * Handle complex WC submissions that are beyond the skill level of the underwriting team * Audit and report on new, renewal business, pricing and large losses etc. * Develop and implement WC guidelines, and controls and take needed corrective action * Conduct WC and market research Qualified candidates will possess: * Significant WC LOB executive experience with a national P&C insurance carrier * Experience with state expansion planning and implementation.
