Job Description:
The incumbent will be a member of a team of Operation Research support analysts executing analysis and assessments in support of Joint Command and Control (JC2) Capability Portfolio Management. The incumbent will work closely with counterparts representing the Military Services, Combatant Commands, US Joint Forces Command Component Commands, the Interagency, the Joint Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense. The incumbent will conduct analysis of the C2 portfolio as it relates to Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System, the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution and Defense Acquisition System processes. The incumbent may also be required to fulfill a role in the Persistent Integration Review Team to review Standing Issue Team Cell inputs, staff, present and defend Joint Program Objective Memorandum (POM) guidance, and monitor Service/Program compliance or non-compliance throughout the POM cycles. Qualifications: BASIC REQUIREMENTS: : All applicants must meet the following basic requirements plus specialized experience to qualify: Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
