Job Description:
This Position is in the Standard Career Group and will be filled in pay schedule YC pay band 3. The responsibilities of this position are considered to be at the higher end of the pay band. In addition to meeting the basic requirements, applicants must have 52 week of specialized experience at the next lower pay band or equivalent under the GS or other pay system that demonstrates having the knowledge of the organization and operations of an entire intelligence function to perform a variety of tasks and functions designed to collect and disseminate information. Such experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position that is described above. Applicants will be further evaluated on the level and quality of their experience and possession of relevant competencies in order to be determined well qualified. Expert knowledge of DoD objectives, programs, policies, operations and organizations within the DoD an national intelligence community. Demonstrated skill in analytical, evaluative and interpretative work in order to make new discoveries and interpretation or to improve the data, materials and methods of evaluation. Demonstrated ability to manage and direct the work of others. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Substitution of Experience with Education: There is no substitution of education for experience for this position You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position. There are no time in grade restrictions for NSPS positions.
