Duties Under the direction of the Experiential Mar-keting & Broadcasting Manager, the responsibilities include: * Direct the ongoing operation and devel-opment of the weekly syndicated Big Spin show and daily televised online draws * Develop TV station license contracts; oversee production contracts and outside agencies producing work to support the broadcasts * Review and approve scripting, production and editing of all broadcast programs * Initiate syndication and distribution activi-ties required to ensure continued broadcast of the Lottery\'s programs in all 12 California TV markets * Direct the tape editing process for pro-gram content, continuity and style, ensuring they meet broadcast quality stan-dards * Manage the broadcast budget and approve broadcast expenditures after plan approval Job Requirements Applicants applying for this position must: * Have knowledge of the technical elements required to produce a TV broadcast pro-gram * Have good interpersonal skills * Have strong verbal and written communi-cation skills * Be willing to travel and perform work re-quiring irregular hours Who Should Apply Applicants should be state employees who are currently in the Director, Television Communications Center (Specialist) classifi-cation, or have current list or transfer eligibility for appointment to this class.
