Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for the Solutions Development Team (SDT) comprised of strong technical analysts and programmers who support several PowerBuilder and Java based applications.. The candidate should have strong project leadership skills and technical expertise. Candidate will manage state staff, consultants and associated contracts, prepare projected budgets, develop training plans, and oversee all maintenance and project activities through all phases of the SDLC. Desirable Qualifications: Strong communications skills, both oral and written. Strong leadership and coaching skills Strong understanding of SDLC and IEEE methodologies Strong project management experience and knowledge of accepted project management tools. Strong organizational and prioritization skills Strong analytical skills for evaluating business needs and developing innovative solutions. Experience in working with diversified project teams, including internal, external customers and non-technical staff Detailed experience managing projects, budgets, and people WHO MAY APPLY: Individuals who are currently at the DPM II level or who are eligible for transfer or list appointment to this level are encouraged to apply.
