Ensures Food Lion standard practices of customer service are priority and met at all times. Performs service desk and KIOSK service as needed to meet business demands. Engages and interacts with customers to create a positive shopping experience. Maintains Front End Standard Practice of all Front End accounting services:Ë Register PickupsË Till CountsË LoansË Safe CountsË Re-Deposited WICSË DepositsË Deposit slip verificationË Returned check payments Ë Coin-StarË Postage StampsË Phone CardsË Gift CardsË Rug Dr. Rentals and ReturnsË Change Fund Checks and OrdersË Vending Money and other Special IncomeË LotteryË Bill PayË Self Checkout LanesË Blue RhinoË MCI Phone CardsË Store Accounting Close Ë Western Union and Money Order reconciliation and inventoryË Writes beer/wine checksË Verifies beer/wine checksAssists in upholding office procedures and policies relating to:Ë ISSA reportsË DepositsË Food Lion charge salesË EFT/EBT (offline and regular)Ë WIC\'sË Paper food stampsË Manufacturer coupons and store couponsË Check cashing policies and procedures Ë Refunds and overridesË VoidsË Credit SalesË Void transactionsProvides recognition of accomplishments and offers constructive counseling when necessary as it relates to cash control and office reporting using the Teach, Coach and Communicate process. Communicates all cash variances to the Customer Service Sales Manager. Researches over/short discrepancies as reported by the Food Lion Store Support Center on the weekly over/short report, reports updated information or variances to the Store Manager Stores Sales Accounting if necessary. Works as a team player with other department heads to maintain adequate security to control cash, shrink, dishonesty, and customer or associate accidents. Ensures all store office functions are completed accurately and on time.
