Responsibilities/Duties: Provides outstanding customer service for all types of teller and service related activities. Provides coaching and training to branch teller associates to ensure high quality service, improve efficiency and maintain compliance with procedures and practices. Partners with Branch Manager to ensure all operational, regulatory and audit functions are completed. Monitors cash in teller drawers and the vault to ensure an adequate supply to meet customer needs without exceeding specified limits. Reviews and approves transactions that exceed subordinate associates’ authority level; intervenes in complex transactions and/or escalated service issues. Compiles and accurately reports data as required for compliance with federal regulations and internal controls. Develops coaching tools to support the development of teller staff and new supervisors. Provides coaching to and supports the development of emergent supervisors; may require visits to other branches for on-site observation and feedback. Skills: None Experience: Hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
