Develop and manage client relationships and facilitate sales through strategic alliances. Recommend commercial and technical strategies to expand export sales. Review customer specifications and technical drawings to develop and prepare the Company's technical and commercial proposals for products and services. Interface with customers to clarify proposals. Calculate Company's product and service costs. Recommend prices to support Company's margin requirements and reflect the international market price. Conduct and/or support customer proposal negotiations. Confirm customer orders are consistent with the Company proposals. Enter orders and turnover to engineering, production, and contract administration. Identify all contract requirements and commitments. Prepare the sales order file. Arrange letters of credit and export control. Obtain feedback on each bid and close out. Prepare sales-related reports as required. Territory Responsibilities: Develop sales aids and customer presentation material. Meet with and establish relationships with Caribbean customer personnel involved with specifying, buying, and approving purchases of Power System Group (PSG) products. Conduct technical presentations for customers on company products. Develop and implement marketing strategy and tactics to meet or exceed PSG objectives including profitability, sales volume, and market share. Manage, coordinate and evaluate the activities of MEPPI independent sales representative organizations for the Power Systems Group. Support and assist the Sales Managers as needed. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess: Masters degree in business and bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline, plus a minimum of 8 years of international sales experience in electrical equipment or related fields; 3 years experience in business development, market research, sales planning, financial analysis in US and international markets.
