This will require internal and behind the scenes responsiveness to ensure the premier service is provided to the client. The BDM must create loyalty with their client base, and meeting or exceeding client commitments is the way we believe that loyalty is developed. Meeting commitments to internal organizations cross- functionally is required in order to ensure the CRM's ability to advocate effectively on behalf of the client. The BDM is responsible for understanding the needs and expectations of their clients and advocating on behalf of the client with in One Communication to maximize retention and revenue opportunities while balancing financial and operational goals of the company. The BDM will coordinate with multiple departments with in the organization to ensure that their client's needs are met. It is the BDM's responsibility to ensure the end to end behind the scenes transactions take place timely and accurately. Each client transaction that requires cross functional collaboration should be treated like a project that the BDM is the designated project manager for. Front end partnership with the field sales organization to ensure on boarding of new clients is managed effectively is required to ensure the client's total experience from the start is a success.. The BDM is responsible for designing the most effective way to learn and understand and then meet or exceed their client's needs. While standard internal process should be used as the guide, the BDM's personal abilities will ensure true effectiveness. BDM will be responsible for leveraging products and pricing to ensure a win - win situation for the client and One Communications. The BDM is responsible for the Service, Retention and Revenue growth objectives for their assigned base of clients. Required Skills 1-2 years account management experience Telecom industry experience preferred Excellent oral and written communications skills Strong business acumen Negotiation / Selling skills Analytical/problem solving skills Ability to proficiently navigate within multiple software applications Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to establish quick rapport Excellent listening skills High level of drive, initiative to work independently to meet commitments Strong PC literacy Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook Operational in a Windows 2000 environment Required Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a base sales environment.
