The Director of Business Development & Strategic Marketing Partnerships is charged with developing and overseeing the implementation of partnerships and alliances that enhance Cablevisions competitive position by increasing revenue, acquisition, and retention for Optimum products and services. The scope of this position encompasses the entire business development process from strategy and business case development to contract negotiations and operational implementation. RESPONSIBILTIES · Analyzing current partnership and business development strategies. · Developing new commerce partnerships which yield growth and or retention benefits · Creating alternative distribution alliances · Evaluating, recommending and developing new strategic partnerships for all Optimum products. · Managing current partnerships and contract renewals. · Supporting customer acquisition efforts though offer development and initiation. · Evaluating impact of partnerships on retention and growth. · Developing and managing operational implementation of alliances. QUALIFICATIONS: · BA or equivalent work experience. MBA and/or Investment banking experience a plus. · 7+ years experience in strategic development, positioning and marketing. · Facility with quantitative research: ability to identify shifts and emerging trends in marketplace and technology space as well as ability to monitor performance against objectives.
