Job Description:
The Business Development Manager works with guidance from the Director of Business Development and local office leadership to win new clients and expand relationships with existing clients. Works in coordination with Client Services groups pursuing client relationships and sales opportunities with the objective of winning new business. Location: CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory of Kansas City, Inc. in Leawood, KS Availability: immediately Status: interviewing Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business administration or accounting , or taxation ; Sales experience or practice experience in public accounting, internal audit or management consulting; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to demonstrate past sales achievement and knowledge in the area of professional services; Ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities through relationships, sales campaign activity, or other sales activity; Initiate or lead the proposal process, participating as appropriate to increase the probability of a win; Ability to interface effectively with clients and team members.
