Job Description:
The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for the northeast territory and reports to the Ad Director. This individual will be accountable for building client relationships and generating significant revenue through the sale of a comprehensive suite of advertising and marketing opportunities. Candidate will be responsible for developing new business accounts while growing existing account relationships. He or she will create and deliver, via phone, e-mail and in-person, integrated marketing proposals and support this development with the field sales force as well. JOB REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years sales experience and be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment, following existing corporate strategy and contributing to new strategy as the business environment changes. The Advertising Sales Manager must be responsible, professional, highly organized, self-motivated and highly skilled in the field of telephone sales and in-person presentations. Candidates should also have an understanding of the publishing industry and the B2B space, as well as client objectives and how to translate them into print/online media.
