Responsibilities: Lead the advertising department for CQ Publications, setting CQ’s strategy to continue to increase share in our growing and dynamic market. Manage all advertising activities and hold revenue responsibility for CQ Weekly, CQ Today, CQ.com, CQ Politics and CQ Events. Hire, coach, train and manage the market’s leading advertising sales team. The Vice President, Advertising will be a member of CQ’s Executive Committee and report to the Publisher. Background The ideal candidate will have substantial experience selling in the government sector or managing successful media sales teams.
