Job Description:

A company manufacturing plastic bottles for consumer marketing companies seeks a Senior Auditor with 2+ years of related experience through public accounting/auditing and/or industry experience. The candidate will be reporting to the VP of SOX Compliance. The position is created to transition the organization from an outsourced audit function to an internal audit department. The candidate will determine if financial and administrative controls are adequate and operating effectively; ascertain the accuracy and reliability of accounting records and financial data; conduct risk assessments and review the adequacy of the internal control design; plan and execute risk-based audits to determine if results are consistent with established objectives and goals; draft reports and communicate to senior management. The preferred candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Should have the ability to work independently performing SOX testing and operational internal audits.
