Job Description:
A temporary application development position in the Reservations System department working with an Informix database development environment. The project will be focused on developing Web Services in Java supporting external vendor requests. The work will support projects for the Central Reservation System (CRS) servicing multiple clients within the Hospitality Industry. The account would like some flexibility for early dismissal of temporary hire, or extension of services, if needed.
Essential Knowledge:
Candidate must have strong communication skills, enjoy working in a team environment, prior Hospitality business knowledge a plus.
Job Requirements:
We are seeking the following primary technical skills:
* Java * J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition)
* XML (eXtensible Markup Language)
* WebLogic/Weblogic-Tuxedo-Connector
* XML Schema Development with XML-Spy
* Informix database SQL
* Relational database experience
Required: - 5+ years of related technical experience in an operational environment.
Other skills as follows:
Tuxedo Middleware (Past experience calling Tuxedo services from Java application)
Communicate with Remote Systems
