Job Description:
 A community-oriented bank seeks a Compensation Manager with 7+ years’ experience as a compensation analyst, or equivalent in a broad-based financial services environment. The candidate will provide analytical support in the accumulation and analysis of compensation data for the US wholesale business, as well as work with the regional HR staff to accomplish the same in each of their locations; providing aggregated regional information as needed to regional and global management. Serving as the regional centre of competence for compensation with the primary responsibility within the region to manage all aspects of the compensation process in support of regional needs and the global compensation function. To run the annual compensation review program for bank, in compliance with global compensation schedules and procedures. Have direct compensation management/advisory responsibility. To coordinate the compensation process throughout the region. To liaise effectively with global HR, and regional HR, with particular emphasis on the compensation specialists. To liaise effectively with key business partners in support of the CR process, control, GM's, executive committee. To ensure appropriate compensation governance regionally in respect of guarantees, retention programs, and sign-on bonuses. Will provide analytical analysis of market positioning, and fair pay practices. Compensation management experience in a financial services sector. Should have accounting knowledge.
