Job Description:
 An Internet services company seeks a Senior Architect with 9+ years of industry experience. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation efforts for global platforms and infrastructural systems. Will also be responsible for leading and shaping up the technical vision of global platforms and ECO system services. Will have an opportunity to work on a variety of project types including; putting technical proposals and technical presentations, working with other architects for leveraging other technologies, rapid prototyping, evaluating different technologies/platforms, designing and developing world class global application platforms and infrastructure services (caching and monitoring services, data processing platforms, internationalization/localization services, authentication/authorization frameworks, Bucket test frameworks, instrumentation frameworks and more). Will also be working with research scientists to jointly solve complex problem. The candidate should have M.S., C.S. or higher. Ph.d. in C.S., E.E. is preferred. Should have proven track record of delivering global high trafficked web platforms/systems. Expertise with I18N/L10N best practices, issues and resolutions is required. Prior experience in architectural/technical lead role is essential. Strong Unix/Linux, PHP, C++/Java experience is necessary. Should have knowledge of distributed storage systems, caching, databases, web architecture. Experience with performance optimization techniques, object oriented programming is a must. Should be familiar with web services, apache, server-side development.
