Job Description:
 A company marketing and trading coal, petroleum coke, various carbon products, cement and related materials seeks a Staff Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience. The candidate will be involved with business transactions and decisions. Will be able to interact with a diverse group of business people within accounting, marketing, and operations. The position will offer the ability to manage front to back processes of a fertilizer project and plant, which requires hands on, detailed accounting work; develop an understanding of the market structure; build relationships with traders, marketers, position managers, and operations; become knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with standards and other compliance requirements; contract capture, position/trade status reporting, settlement (A/R, A/P), cost variances, and financial reporting. The opportunity to provide support for special projects. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Previous experience with trading or plant accounting is preferred.
