A Fortune 500 company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with 5-7 years’ experience in corporate accounting/financial analysis. The candidate will be responsible for preparing weekly flash reports and consolidating information for weekly meeting with senior management. Monitoring and analyzing reports, researching variances and providing explanations. Consolidation of information for monthly major capital projects review meetings. Preparation of assigned portions of the annual budget process to include capital budgets and operating plans. Interface with financial personnel in operating companies to obtain data and information necessary to complete duties. Internal financial reporting to include monthly actuals earnings meeting package. Updating information for rating agency models. Assist as needed in other special projects in the planning area. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. M.B.A./CPA preferred. Some experience with foreign currency translation preferred. Experience in energy industry preferred. Should have experience with computerized accounting systems, financial modeling, budgets, operations analysis, and management reporting. Experience with Lawson financial systems preferred.
