Job Description:
 A mutual fund firm seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with 5-10 years' experience. The candidate involves functional knowledge and programming support for CRMC's portfolio accounting application, working with business analysts and users as well as technical team members to identify and implement extensive new functions, smaller features, and enhancements to existing functionality. Significant redesign of existing system architectural and functional components may also be involved. Assignments may include application design and development, coding for enhancements and fixes, testing, maintenance and support. This role may also lead small teams for specific projects. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of software development life cycle. Strong experience with systems analysis and design. Experience with problem resolution. Ability to present ideas and information in group settings. Understanding of structured programming techniques. Expertise in relational data modeling, database technology, SQL, and query tools. Expertise in C, C++, and object oriented development languages. Thorough knowledge of software development tools and environments, like Java/J2EE, .NET, LAMP, UNIX/Windows scripting languages. Thorough knowledge of application reference architectures, application frameworks, and design principles and patterns. Knowledge of application architecture design and implementation for large, complex, client- server application on Microsoft Windows and relational database-Unix platforms. Understanding of accounting principles and experience with fund accounting is a plus. Knowledge of financial industries and investment management is a plus.
