Job Description:
 A company providing systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services seeks a General Accounting Manager with 5+ years’ relevant work experience. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the general accounting team, including the accurate and timely assessment of the adequacy of reserve accounts, including product and general liability, worker’s compensation, and health insurance reserves. Oversee the accurate accounting of various compensation programs and equity accounts as well as pension and other post-retirement employee programs. Facilitate the month-end corporate close process including management reporting review. Manage the annual corporate allocation process with all entities and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process. Lead and participate in various projects and special analysis, including coordination of outside auditors, Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and review, system implementations and process improvements. The candidate should have B.A./B.S. degree in accounting. CPA, CMA, M.B.A. preferred.
