Job Description:
 One of the world's top ten full-service marketing research agencies, specializing in brand equity, brand performance and brand health seeks a Senior Developer with 5+ years of experience in an IT or financial capacity role with 1-2 years’ data warehousing and ETL experience and 3+ years’ experience with Cognos 7 framework and report development. This role will work in a team environment to design and develop Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes using COGNOS and Informatica, PL/SQL and other tools. Will work with the applications teams to understand and document business requirements, and provide input in the design of Business Intelligence (BI) applications. Work closely with business users to gather requirements. Work with other team members to integrate and understand business requirements gathered from business users. Work with the high level business users to incorporate business requirements into ETL processes. Communicate well with the business, and provide regular and frequent status. The candidate should have B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Familiarity with and comfortable with data modeling is a must. Exposure to dimensional modeling, Star schemas and Data marts is required. Should have experience with Informatica. Strong skills in SQL, MDX, XML, PL/SQL, and triggers is necessary. Experience with Oracle RDBMS is essential. The ideal candidate will also possess the following experience: Financial/accounting applications; knowledge of SQL Server; familiarity with Java and XML; day-to-day maintenance and production support in Oracle environment. Cognos 8 experience a strong plus.
