Job Description:
 A bank providing superior financial services to communities seeks a Database Administrator with 3-5 years’ relevant experience supporting either Oracle or SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high performance, high availability, and business recovery planning of database environments. Facilitate the discussions of creating databases, maintain the pieces of the database, perform database back-ups and recovery, performance tune databases and review additional software. Make recommendations on proposals to third party vendors and maintain service level agreements with vendors as well as end users dealing with databases. Resolve issues associated with company databases by implementing fixes along with vendors and supervisory approval. Update, monitor and complete help desk tickets and projects. Perform hours reporting, resource planning, project management, and production release in accordance with project management methodology. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
