Job Description:
 A Fortune 500 company seeks a Senior .NET Developer with 6+ years of experience in the design, development and support of both public and private facing web applications. The candidate will be working with the latest Microsoft development technologies on innovative projects including Multi Channel retail ecommerce systems, content management, POS, and other sophisticated consumer facing solutions. The candidate will be responsible for processing analysis, requirements gathering, designing of technical specifications, coding, testing and support of new and existing customer facing web applications. A significant component of this position will be analyzing, supporting and maintaining existing web applications while recommending and implementing technical solutions to enhance current applications. Will be reporting to the senior director of IT development. Additionally, the Senior .NET Developer will create applications utilizing ASP.Net, and C# with Visual Studio 2005, and 2008, SQL Server 2005, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, and Microsoft Commerce Server 2007. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in information systems, or a similar discipline. Candidates must have extensive experience developing Microsoft Centric applications with the following skills: WinForms, ASP.NET, Web Services, XML/XSLT, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, SRS, SSIS, Object Oriented Development (including UML), and AJAX. The ability to adapt to new technology is critical as is competency in the architecture and design of complex Internet and Intranet solutions. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Additional, maintaining an expertise in industry standards and Microsoft development products is key. The candidate will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
