Job Description:
 A global power systems company providing power for land, sea and air seeks a Junior to Mid-level Java Developer with 2+ years' experience in web applications development using Java/J2EE technologies. The candidate will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: Requirements, analysis, design, code, unit test, system test, deployment and system maintenance. Responsibilities include web application development, client server system development/maintenance and conversion, data analysis tool development, working in a team environment and working closely with the customer end users. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or engineering degree. M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or engineering is a plus. Should have experience in development frameworks such as Struts, Ant and IDE Eclipse. Understanding and hands-on experience with MVC architecture approach is required. Familiarity with Javascript is necessary. Should have experience with SQL programming. Strong understanding of software development life cycle, UML modeling and knowledge of XML and related technologies such as XSLTs and XML schema is essential. Experience in Visual Studio and Visual Studio.Net, VB.NET, C#, ADO and AJAX. Experience in ISO 9001:2000 and CMM/CMMI 2 and 3 best practices is preferred.
