Job Description:
Central Oklahoma Veterinary Emergency is looking for an outgoing, self-motivated individual to join our team of veterinary assistants! Job duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, patient admissions, assisting veterinarian with radiographs, diagnostics, treatment, and patient discharge. Veterinary experience is preferred, but not required. Starting pay is $9.25/hr with a possible raise after 3 month probationary period. No certification needed. Will train. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours of operation are 6:00pm to 8:00am Monday through Friday and 24 hours on all weekends and holidays. Would be required to work approximately 28 hours per week.

Job Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs. Ability to learn quickly. Ability to use computer system. Ability to take direction and work quickly and efficiently under stress. Must be willing to learn to place catheters, do bloodwork, draw blood, assist in surgery, etc.
