Job Description:
Our client is meeting the specific needs of vital industrial, international and public utility market customers through the use of a coal-based platform to deliver combined energy, environmental and economic solutions, producing clean, efficient and affordable energy. They are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in their Denver office.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyzes financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.
Reviews costs and performs cost benefit analysis
Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data reported in the various financial systems.
Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, modeling and results analysis.
Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
Plans and conducts complex studies to improve the operational and financial effectiveness.
Performs complex statistical, cost and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and prepares subsequent narrative analysis for management.
Supports all facets of the business
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting, economics, or related field. MBA preferred
Minimum 4 6 years financial experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to change
