Job Description:
Innovar Group is seeking a highly skilled .Net/C# Software Applications Developer for a valued client in Englewood, CO. This is a full-time permanent position.
Scope/Key Responsibilities:
This individual will work with various levels within the user community and IT Department to define business requirements, design system functionality, and develop appropriate software solutions to business needs. Ability to logically analyze business problems and develop software solutions in a GUI environment. Requires analysis through design, programming, and implementation. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Major Job Duties: Understanding business processes and defining system requirements to support these processes Understanding development methodologies used to implement system requirements. Strong .Net/C# skills; ability to create and maintain existing functionality in a .Net/C# environment. Experience developing C# business objects in three-tier architecture. Object modeling experience a plus. Extensive knowledge and experience developing stored procedures and triggers in a MS SQL Server environment. Currently using SQL Server 2005. Ability to identify potential problems with existing software and provide constructive feedback to improve existing software and development processes. Creating Technical Specifications including definition of all necessary database enhancements.
Ensuring that proposed system changes effectively support users requirements.
Ability to maintain priorities for multiple projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Minimum 8+ yrs in systems development (programming), at least 3 years developing and implementing business solutions utilizing .Net, at least 6 years writing and maintaining SQL stored procedures and code in a RDBS, first hand experience in producing technical system design and programming specifications, and at least 4 yrs of experience in MS SQL Server. Proficient in programming business applications in a GUI environment using the SQL language. Microsoft TFS or Sharpoint a plus. Strong communication skills: superior writing, language and listening skills.
